GenreMatch

Genre Analysis Hub

Artists lose reach when a song is filed in the wrong room. GenreMatch listens to the recording — released or still a demo — and names the genre that will actually find it.

The miss

The right genre is how a song becomes findable.

One of the ordinary problems in a studio is not writing the song. It is deciding what to call it. Playlists, radio, sync supervisors, and label marketing all search by genre. A honest tag is a distribution decision.

Existing databases can identify a track that is already out. They are weaker on the bounce that has never been released, or on a small artist whose song does not match a catalog fingerprint. That is the gap GenreMatch is built to close.

01

Accurate genre matching

A read of tempo, spectrum, low end, and pulse, scored against genre centers. Hybrid songs stay hybrid — the brief shows the spread.

02

A reference atlas

Characteristic profiles from electronic, rap, pop, rock, soul, global, and acoustic music, so a result has neighbors you can actually compare.

03

Unreleased songs

Drop a demo. Nothing is uploaded. The analysis runs in the browser, which is the point for music that is not in any public database yet.

Try the method

Six profiles, no file required.

These are shaped like real sessions. Open one to see the brief the studio would write.
